How Arĩ for Kids works

These terms explain the rules for using Arĩ for Kids. By signing up, you agree to these terms. Last updated: 19 May 2026.

Summary in plain English: Parents sign up and manage everything. Sessions are paid in advance. We do not offer refunds for missed sessions without 24 hours' notice. Everyone — students, coaches, and parents — must behave respectfully.

1. About Arĩ for Kids

Arĩ for Kids is a section of Arĩ AI School — an online platform connecting students with vetted AI coaches for live 1-on-1 sessions and self-paced courses. Arĩ for Kids serves children aged 5–17 across Africa and the diaspora.

The platform is owned and operated by Wangari Njoroge, trading as Arĩ AI School. Our email is hello@arischool.africa.

2. Who can use the platform

Arĩ for Kids is open to children aged 5–17. Children are grouped as follows:

  • Little Explorers: ages 5–7
  • Junior Builders: ages 8–12
  • Young Innovators: ages 13–17

A parent or guardian aged 18 or older must create the account and provide consent before a child can use the platform. Children cannot create their own accounts or log in independently.

3. Accounts and parental consent

When you sign up, we create two accounts: one for the parent or guardian, and one for the child. The parent account is used to manage bookings, track progress, and make payments.

After signup, we send a confirmation email to the parent. The child's account is not activated until the parent clicks the confirmation link. This is our parental consent process.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Children must not share personal contact details (phone numbers, home address, social media handles) with coaches or other students during sessions.

4. Sessions and bookings

Sessions are booked and confirmed through the platform. After a booking is confirmed and paid, the parent receives a Google Meet link by email and WhatsApp.

Cancellations and rescheduling:

  • You may cancel or reschedule a session at no charge if you give at least 24 hours' notice
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will forfeit that session from any pack purchased
  • If a coach cancels, you will receive a full credit for that session
  • We will always try to offer an alternative time if a coach is unavailable

Sessions are conducted on Google Meet. You are responsible for ensuring your child has a working device, stable internet connection, and a quiet space for the session.

5. Payments and refunds

All payments are made in advance by card (Visa or Mastercard) through Pesapal. We do not accept mobile money at this time.

Pricing:

  • Little Explorers (ages 5–7): KES 1,500 per session
  • Junior Builders (ages 8–12): KES 2,000 per session
  • Young Innovators (ages 13–17): KES 2,500 per session
  • Family pack (2 or more children): 15% discount on all sessions

Refunds:

  • Session packs do not expire — your child can use them at their own pace
  • Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if no sessions have been used
  • After the 7-day window, we do not offer cash refunds — unused sessions remain as credits on your account
  • If we are unable to provide a session for any reason on our side, we will refund or credit the session in full

6. Rules of conduct

We expect everyone on the platform — students, parents, and coaches — to behave with respect and kindness.

Students must not:

  • Be rude or disrespectful to coaches
  • Share personal contact details during sessions
  • Record sessions without permission
  • Use the platform to access content that is inappropriate for their age

Parents must not:

  • Allow a child other than the registered child to use the account
  • Share login credentials with others
  • Contact coaches directly outside of the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules. In serious cases involving the safety of a child, we will report the matter to the relevant authorities.

7. Content and certificates

All course content on Arĩ for Kids is owned by Arĩ AI School or by the coach who created it. You may not copy, share, or redistribute course materials without permission.

When a child completes a course, they receive an Arĩ AI School certificate. This certificate is for educational recognition only. It is not an accredited qualification.

Badges and XP points earned on the platform are for motivation and tracking progress. They have no monetary value.

8. Our liability

We work hard to keep the platform running smoothly. However, we cannot guarantee that the platform will be available at all times. We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime, technical issues, or internet connectivity problems on your side.

Arĩ AI School is an educational platform. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. Results depend on the child's effort, consistency, and engagement.

Our maximum liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the amount you paid for the affected session or course.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after that date means you accept the new terms.

The current version of these terms is always available at arischool.africa/kids/terms.
